Something sweet to try this Easter


There are plenty of sweet traditions that come with Easter; hot crossed buns, Simnel cake and chocolate. But why not try something new this Easter? Created by our fantastic dessert chef, creme brulee eggs will make the perfect addition to your Easter dinner this year. Please see below recipe to create your very own.

1 LT of Cream

200g Caster Sugar

300g Egg Yolk

1 Vanilla Pod

  • Boil the cream, sugar and vanilla pod in a pan
  • Wisk egg yolks and add them to the hot mixture whilst gently whisking
  • Cook until mixture thickens
  • Pour mixture into egg shells (or small dishes if you do not have egg shells)
  • Leave to set in the fridge overnight
